Privacy & your L&F Deals

What we collect

When you claim an L&F Deals pack we collect your name and email and issue you every deal in that month's pack, there is nothing to pick. We also record a rough, country or city level location worked out from your internet connection at the moment you sign up, and whether and where each deal was later redeemed.

If you sign up for one of our events (like Summer Band Camp) we collect just your name and email, and we only use them to run that event, for example to send you the details and any updates.

Why we collect it

To deliver your personal QR L&F Deals and email you a link back to them; to make sure each pack is claimed once per person; to help the venues and LostAndFound understand which live events and offers people love (in aggregate); and to send you LostAndFound's monthly live events email, which you can leave any time.

We never ask for your precise location

We never ask your phone or browser for your location and we never store GPS coordinates. The only location we hold is the rough region your internet connection reports, the same level of detail any website sees, and you can ask us to delete it along with the rest of your claim.

How we count visits

We count how many times each page is opened, and which site sent you here, with a counter of our own that stores only a page name and a total: no cookie, no IP address, nothing that could be linked to you or to an L&F Deal claim. If you say yes on the notice at the foot of the page, we also use Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies on your device and reports your visits to Google, with your IP address shortened, so we can see how people find the site and which pages lead to a deal. Say no and nothing from Google loads. Your choice is kept in your browser only, and you can change it here.

Who sees it

When you redeem an L&F Deal, the venue's staff see your name and the discount, to confirm the deal is really yours. LostAndFound's organizers see aggregate numbers and can look up a claim to help you. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

L&F Deal claims are kept for the duration of the campaign and a short period afterwards for support and accounting, then removed. Your newsletter subscription lasts until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it completely, including your claim and any location we hold. We honour these requests under the EU GDPR and Vietnam's Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on Personal Data Protection. Email us and we'll action it.
